Today, we are crowning singer-songwriter Hayley Kiyoko as our #QueenoftheWeek 👑 Born in Los Angeles, California, Kiyoko was interested in the arts from a young age. She started acting in TV commercials as a child and quickly turned to music, beginning drum lessons at age six and writing songs by the time she was eight years old. She was the creator and choreographer of her high school step team and started a garage band that performed locally while she was in high school. Her entertainment career grew when she joined the girl group The Stunners and starred in Disney Channel’s Lemonade Mouth in 2010. When The Stunners split, Kiyoko shifted to creating her own music, releasing her debut EP in 2013.
