2026 Hyrox New York Race Recap 1:03:10 5th overall. 2nd in my age group. And if I’m being honest… I’m leaving New York with mixed emotions. The goal was sub-60. I didn’t get it. Part of me is disappointed because I know what I’m capable of and I showed up expecting more. But another part of me is incredibly grateful. Grateful to race in front of my wife and daughters. Grateful to compete against some of the best athletes in the sport. Grateful to be healthy enough to push my limits. The hardest part of the race wasn’t a station. It was the conditions. The heat was relentless, and sitting on the rower directly under the sun felt like an oven. There came a point where I knew a PR wasn’t happening. And that’s where the race really started. Because it’s easy to fight when everything is going your way. It’s much harder to keep showing up when it isn’t. I’m proud that I didn’t back down. I kept racing. I kept competing.
