Miles College President, Bobbie Knight, was the only HBCU President speaking at one of the world’s most influential finance conferences in Beverly Hills, CA. She participated in a featured panel at the Milken Institute Global Conference, titled “Investing in the Resiliency of HBCUs,” moderated by NPR host Ayesha Rascoe, with opening remarks from award-winning artist and activist Common. 📍The conversation focused on the economic impact of HBCUs and why continued investment matters.President Knight also highlighted Miles College’s participation in a UNCF matching investment program. Miles has committed to raising $5 million in unrestricted funds, which UNCF will match dollar-for-dollar.
