There are still five days left to vote early ahead of the Texas Democratic and Republican primary elections on March 5. All 79 early voting locations will remain open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through the end of Friday. Those polling locations will open back up on March 5, and ballots will be counted for everyone in line by 7 p.m. Despite an upward trend in Harris County’s growing population and base of nearly 2.6 million registered voters, turnout has remained somewhat stagnant in recent years.
