United States Vice President Kamala Harris is stopping in Houston Monday to commend the Biden administration’s accomplishments in an attempt to drum up Hispanic voter support.
The Vice President will make a stop at a local health department center for a “community conversation” in Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia’s district, which has one of the largest Hispanic districts in the state, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus said in a recent announcement.
The event is part of the CHC's "On The Road" series that aims to inform Hispanic voters of legislative accomplishments achieved by democrats in Congress, be a platform to connect with Latino populations and share information about tools and resources available to them, according to the caucus.
