A talented group of pre-teens is the talk of the town in a small community - and for good reason. The team of 12-year-olds in Needville, located about 40 miles southwest of Houston in Fort Bend County, has qualified for the world’s most prestigious youth baseball tournament two years after a near-miss of sorts. If you tune in to ESPN to watch the Little League World Series, you might see them dancing outside their dugout. According to Needville Little League head coach Andy McRae, the young players gather in a circle and hold an impromptu dance-off competition to help them relieve any nerves they might be feeling. The team will have all its talents on display in Pennsylvania, where the tournament will be held from Wednesday through Aug. 27. Needville, or otherwise reference as Southwest in the tournament, will open up the 20-team tournament at 6 p.m. Wednesday against a team from Media, Pennsylvania. #Needville #LittleLeagueWorldSeries2023 #LittleLeagueWorldSeries #FortBendCounty...
