Ruth Robertson's historic expedition to the world's tallest waterfall in 1949 succeeded where many men had failed. Her journey and accomplishments are chronicled in Kathryn Casey's novel Angel Falls. Robertson's photographs of the falls, measured at 3,212 feet, were published worldwide. She spent her later years in Houston, along the San Bernard River in Brazoria County. Casey, captivated by Robertson's story, tells us what drew her to this remarkable woman's journey. Listen to the full conversation at houstonmatters.org. #angelfalls #kathryncasey #ruthrobertson
