Make mistakes. At a recent panel, I shared something I wish I understood earlier in my career: mistakes are where growth happens. Every difficult client conversation, every negotiation that didn’t go as planned, and every missed opportunity taught me lessons that ultimately made me a better advisor. Too many new agents think success comes from getting everything right. In reality, growth comes from being willing to try, learn, adjust, and keep moving forward. The goal isn’t perfection.
