In 2017, my son Daniel was fatally stabbed and bled to death in the street. In the midst of unimaginable grief, we made a promise that we would do everything possible to prevent other families from experiencing the same loss. That promise became The Daniel Baird Foundation #ControlTheBleed🩸 and the UK’s first widespread public access bleed control kit initiative. Today, bleed control kits can be found in communities across the country, and many organisations have joined the effort. Every kit installed and every life saved matters.
