❤️ I am pleased to announce that ‘Trembling Sunrise’ has been acquired by M+ museum in Hong Kong. It’s been a wonderful landmark acquisition for me in part because my parents are from HK and that I have moved there for the majority of the year since January. I feel embraced. It is also special because the painting once belonged to Ellen Josefowitz who sadly passed away. She was a patron of my art and a remarkable friend who sent me on road trips including an incredible Silk Road journey because she wanted to help inspire my development of art. I wish I could have told her again how much she helped with sustaining my continuation as an artist and that a painting she believed in is now a part of one of the most important museums in the world and to myself personally. I think she would have loved to know this - Thank you Ellen, I miss your warm smile, beautiful gaze and love for art.
