Two of Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Reserve Deputies played an instrumental role in a cargo theft investigation that led to the recovery of nearly $1 million worth of property. On Saturday, May 30, the deputies located a trailer on Sierra Highway in Canyon Country that was connected to a cargo theft. Through field investigation and in coordination with CHP and LASD Major Crimes Bureau Cargo CATs, investigators identified and recovered a second trailer loaded with stolen merchandise.
