“I find magic every single day. I look for that magic and I find it. Usually, I find it within my interactions with people and with the natural world. That “magic” is everywhere if you’re looking for it.” Charlie Trapp said that. I never knew Charlie, but it feels like I did. We grew up with the same friends in the same town but somehow our paths never crossed. What I did know was that CT was a friend to anyone who crossed his path, loved finding new music, and was capable of crafting eye-catching works of art. It sounds like we had a lot in common. Through this deep connector that is art, I learned Charlie’s story. I listened to his music, read his journals, and tried to understand his values and reflect it on a custom skateboard design that was gifted to his parents.
