Really sad to hear that Anthony Head has passed away. For me, he'll always be one of those faces that seemed to be everywhere growing up. A lot of people remember him as Giles from Buffy, but before that he was the guy from those famous Nescafé Gold Blend adverts that became a massive part of British TV culture in the 1980s. His daughter Emily Head played Carli in The Inbetweeners, and when you think about that whole era of British television, from The Inbetweeners to Ali G, Anthony Head was one of those familiar faces who always seemed to pop up somewhere along the way. He had one of those careers that spanned generations, and whether you knew him from Buffy, the Nescafé adverts, Merlin, Little Britain, or something else entirely, chances are you've seen him on your screen at some point.
