Cabbage roasted with garlic, parmesan, and hellmannsmayonnaise for the perfect creamy-crispy finish.
Ingredients:
* 1 medium cabbage, quartered
* Oil for searing
* 3 cups chicken broth
* ½ cup Hellmann’s Mayo
* 1 cup grated Parmesan (or to taste)
* 8 cloves garlic, minced
* ½ medium onion, thinly sliced
* Salt & black pepper, to taste
* Parsley, for garnish
Cornstarch Slurry:
* 1 Tbsp water
* 1 Tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
1. Sear the Cabbage:
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a bit of oil. Sear the cabbage quarters on both cut sides until golden. Remove and set aside.
2. Build the Base:
In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Return the seared cabbage to the pan and pour in the chicken broth.
3. Bake Until Tender:
Cover the skillet tightly with foil and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is fork-tender.
