Tito’s Taquitos titostaquitospdx, the great Southwest Portland taquito truck named our 2022 Food Cart of the Year, is opening its first brick-and-mortar restaurant on Swan Island this Friday, the company announced. Swan Island, an industrial spit along the Willamette River known for its shipping yards (and as the home of Daimler Trucks North America’s headquarters), is an interesting choice for Tito’s first restaurant. Previously home to the original Tilt Burger, the space sits in an office park next to an urgent care center at 3449 N. Anchor St. #200.
