ICYMI - History in Motion: Big Boy No. 4014 reached a historic point on its coast-to-coast tour to celebrate #America250 on Friday – rolling onto norfolksouthern tracks 🛤️ for the first time since #UP4014 was delivered to Union Pacific in 1941. Friday was our first day operating an integrated consist with both Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern heritage cars, as well as NS’ newly unveiled No. 1776 The Bell. As #BigBoyHeadsEast, expect more historic and patriotic power from both railroads. Safety Reminder: When coming out to see Big Boy, stay at least 25 feet back from ALL railroad tracks for safety.
