There’s a rare opportunity to see (and smell) a Corpse Flower in bloom right now at comozooconservatory in St. Paul, MN! Horace the Corpse Flower is in bloom at Como Conservatory, a bloom that began Saturday evening. This happens once every few years and lasts about 24 to 48 hours. Horace bloomed two years ago and seven years before that! The flower is known for its powerful odor during its short bloom, which is often compared to rotting meat. Horace will be on display again Monday, June 8 and then the flower will decide. It’s free to view, but be prepared to wait in line! More than 4,300 visitors experienced the flower on Sunday. Follow comozooconservatory for Horace updates. #stpaul #stpaulmn #twincities #minnesota #saintpaulmn
