The magic of the Dayton’s 8th Floor Holiday Show is coming back to the Twin Cities. A collection of restored animatronic elves and scenes will be displayed at 1887 Saunders Avenue, St. Paul, MN from Dec. 6-25, daily from 5-9 p.m. Location: 1887 Saunders Avenue, St. Paul, MN Dates & Times: Saturday, Dec. 6-Thursday, Dec. 25, 5-9 p.m. Cost: Free, cash donations accepted to be split between Toys for Tots and Salvation Army Curator: John Pihaly began collecting and restoring items from Dayton’s 8th Floor Christmas Show a few years ago, using them to recreate holiday scenes at his home for visitors to enjoy. He’s worked with former employees and other members of the community to historically restore the artifacts. Outdoor Display: Plan to stand outside to see the display in the windows of a private home.
