Did you miss Crop Art at the Minnesota State Fair or need an encore? Ten hand selected pieces are at the Minneapolis Institute of Art between now and Sunday, Sept. 28 to see in the rotunda for free. The exhibit is called “Cream of the Crop: A Minnesota Folk Art Showcase.” It’s made up of 10 artworks by 11 artists. Before the fair, the museum selected a winner in two categories: best interpretation of an artwork and best interpretation of a Minnesota landmark, story or figure. They also selected honorable mentions in both categories to showcase.
