Did you know.... Mexico has no specific drone tax, but your drone faces a 19% import tax if customs values it over your $300 USD duty-free electronics allowance. While designed to stop unauthorized commercial imports, customs officers frequently apply this rule to casual hobbyists. Not a great expense but it's good to know. We thought the customs officers were going to confiscate the drone, so the tax was a relief.
