I woke up in Seattle and decided the most reasonable thing to do was fly to San Francisco, direct two episodes and a teaser of creatoriq’s #earnedpodcast, and be home in time to watch Mount Rainier go by from 30,000 feet. The morning flight was delayed, our jet bridge was broken arriving in SF. Met some of the brightest minds in creator marketing, learned more than I thought possible in an hour, was socially awkward because that’s who I am as a person. Walked to lunch, smelled an incredible mix of blooming jasmine, sea spray, and sewage. Returned the studio for more work (and some play). I got carsick in the traffic back to SFO. Recovered with a sweet treat at SFO. I poured my traditional bloody mary mix somewhere over Oregon because tomato juice tastes better at elevation. The control room looked incredible and the speakers were laughing on the monitors and I genuinely could not have asked for a better Friday. Wheels up, wheels down, space needle, bed. And I’ll do it...
