We’re breaking it down together. #2 Quite frankly, gear is pretty expensive Every so often photographers are updating equipment, making sure gear is up to date, properly functioning and performing so that we can deliver the best quality of content possible.  Cameras and accessories are not cheap. A lens can be just as much as a camera body. Lastly, a big chunk of the money is going back into the business — not just for gear but to keep up with operating expenses (think CRMs, Creative Cloud etc).
