Nothing can slow down King Habtom 👑🐺 With a mile to go in the #NCAATF men’s 10,000m final, New Mexico’s Habtom Samuel began to feel discomfort in his waist where a side stitch started to develop. Samuel faded back to fifth but didn’t let the lead group get away from him, exerting all the energy he had the last few laps despite running through discomfort. Samuel even covered the last two laps in 58.82 and 56.81, respectively, to run a 1:55.63 final 800 to claim his fifth-career NCAA title. 🎥 Watch more interviews from the NCAA D1 Outdoor Championships at DyeStat.com. 📸: @keithwebbersports
