DODD WINS BACK-TO-BACK CUTINO AWARDS: Former jserra_boys_water_polo star and current UCLA standout sophomore Ryder Dodd continues to shine as the nation’s top collegiate water polo player, as he has been named the 2026 Peter J. Cutino award winner. It is the second straight season that Dodd was awarded the annual recognition given to the nation’s best male and female collegiate water polo players. Dodd was recently honored at the annual awards ceremony at The Olympic Club in San Francisco. He is the fourth Bruin to win the award and the first Bruin to claim the honor in back-to-back seasons since 1999 & 2000, when former UCLA standout Sean Kern won the first two Peter J. Cutino Awards. Dodd’s sophomore campaign was once again without peer, as he tallied 96 goals, 34 assists, 32 steals, 12 field blocks, and 32 drawn exclusions.
