Caissie Levy won the 2026 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical at the 79th Annual Tony Awards.⁠ ⁠ Levy won for her performance as Mother in the hit revival of Ragtime that plays Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont. This marks the actress's first Tony win for her first nomination. ⁠ ⁠ In her speech, she recognized that no one can do Broadway alone, thanking her babysitters.⁠ ⁠ "Playing Mother has been one of the greatest gifts of my artistic life, and being a mother to my kids has been the greatest joy of my life.
