This is so much more than a facility upgrade—it’s a community honoring a legacy. 💙 David Filer was a nationally ranked tennis talent who tragically lost his battle with brain cancer in 2023 at just 16 years old. To honor his dream of bringing national tournaments to his hometown, his family, the South Bend community, and the USTA teamed up to raise $1.8M to completely rebuild the Leeper Park courts he loved. Now officially open, the David Filer Tennis Center features 13 state-of-the-art courts ready for USTA tournaments, youth camps, and community play. A beautiful reminder of how tennis can bridge tradition, innovation, and legacy. ✨
