It’s just about 40 minutes from Calgary, making it perfect for a day trip-or even better, a slow weekend escape where you can actually take your time, go camping, or stay in the Kananaskis area... because it truly deserves more than just a quick drive-through. We were exploring the region when we came across this peaceful spot along the Elbow River. The view was too beautiful to ignore. So we pulled over.
