The WWE shareholder lawsuit has been settled in principle, and the trial that was set to begin Monday in Delaware has been cancelled. The parties told the Delaware Court of Chancery they had reached an agreement, and the court called off the trial at their request. The court's statement read: "At the parties' request, the trial is cancelled. The parties have advised the court that they will present the settlement for approval in due course." Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster, who had been set to preside, confirmed the parties had reached an agreement in principle and would present the settlement for approval at a later date. The lawsuit centered on the 2023 transaction that merged WWE with UFC under TKO Group Holdings. The plaintiffs alleged WWE was undervalued and that Vince McMahon steered the process toward Endeavor while other bidders, including KKR and Liberty Media, were not given a fair shot.
