Steve Maclin has confirmed that leaving TNA was his own decision. After TNA announced the releases of Maclin and Myla Grace, the former TNA World Champion took to X to confirm he asked out and tease what's next: "Last week I requested my release from TNA. I put my blood, sweat, and tears into everything I've done over the last 5 years and I'll always be thankful for my time there. But now, it's time to STACK BODIES. See you soon." Maclin spent five years with TNA after signing in 2021. The former WWE talent, who wrestled as Steve Cutler from 2014 to 2021, became a one-time TNA World Champion in 2023 and a two-time TNA International Champion.
