MLW World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross addressed the crowd with a message aimed at wrestling fans everywhere. Here is his speech: “A lot of people in this position would come out here and talk a lot about themselves, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But I want to take a little bit of a different approach. This is a special occasion. I want to talk about this company, and I want to talk a little bit about some of you here. Sometimes in life, people feel like the world just starts moving on without them. You put everything into something, someplace, somebody, and then all of a sudden they switch up on you, and you feel like you’ve got absolutely nothing left. But I’m here to tell you today, I’m living proof: that’s just a feeling, it’s not the case. Do not ever give up on yourself. Life goes on, and we’re here.
