Londoners get your diaries out, our next Nicer Tuesdays is not one to miss! We’ve been working away to curate a brilliant line-up for July’s event and we’re so excited to be welcoming LilyKongYuet, Alf_Whiteman, JazzGrantStudio and Daisy_Chain_Studio to the Nicer Tuesdays stage at EartHackney on the 7th July. Lily Kong will be chatting about the evolution of her practice since her last Nicer Tuesdays talk back in 2011, explaining how she creates her beautiful, brightly coloured landscape paintings. Alfie Whiteman, ex-Tottenham professional goalkeeper turned photographer, will be taking us through trading the pitch for the lens, his recent signing to SomeSuchandco and the launch of his debut solo exhibition and photobook, A Loan. Multimedia artist Jazz Grant will be showing us how she uses textile processes like hand embroidery, mixed media collage and stop motion film to craft work for big brands, residencies and local community projects.
