What would you tell future Miamians if you knew they'd read your words a century from now?
More than 100 years ago, members of the Miami community filled a time capsule with letters, keepsakes, publications, and personal messages for future generations.
Among them was a letter from Elizabeth Hamilton, Miami's dean of women, who reflected on Miami's future and the students who would one day follow.
Alongside a 1923 edition of the Miami Student, a Recensio yearbook, and letters sealed with wax stamps, the contents offer a glimpse into life at Miami a century ago.
