What an honor it was to surprise Ms. Rice with her inclusion in a beautiful mural at CarMax Park, created by the incredibly talented Ed Trask. ㅤ The mural, located in The Landing in left field, is entitled, "The Flying Squirrels are Richmond, VA." As a member of the Richmond 34, an educator, activist and our ambassador, Ms. Rice has made a lasting impact within our organization and community. They sat at a whites-only lunch counter and demanded to be served.
