Portland Mayor Keith Wilson on Saturday reiterated that residents should stay hydrated and stay inside as much as possible as the potential for triple-digit heat looms over the metro area. The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning from Sunday morning to Tuesday night. The warning covers the Portland metro, western Columbia River Gorge, Chehalem Mountains, as well as parts of Vancouver and east Clark County in southwest Washington.
