A growing list of Oregon politicians are expressing opposition to a proposed ballot measure that would effectively ban hunting, fishing and other animal-related activities in the state. Prominent elected officials from both parties have said they are opposed to Initiative Petition 28. That includes Democratic Gov. Tina Kotek, Senate President Rob Wagner, D-Lake Oswego, House Majority Leader Ben Bowman, D-Tigard, Senate Republican Leader Bruce Starr and Sen.
