Mental tiredness isn’t one thing. There are two kinds and they need opposite fixes. Most students treat them the same, which is why studying tired feels useless.

→ Did I sleep under 6 hours or have I already studied 5+ hours today?
→ Am I rereading the same line over and over, absorbing nothing?
Both yes → your brain needs real rest first.
One or no → you can study, just differently.
👉IF YOUR BRAIN NEEDS REST
(20 minutes, done right)
→ No phone. Scrolling isn’t rest, it drains the exact attention system you’re trying to recover.
→ Lie down, eyes closed or take a slow walk. Set a timer so your brain trusts the break will end.
→ Then reassess. 20 minutes of real rest returns more focus than 2 extra hours of foggy studying.
