We are incredibly lucky that our son is often happy to take part in things like this, and I never take that for granted. But SEND parenting comes with plenty of challenges of its own, which is why we celebrate the wins and the magic moments when they come ❤️ The truth is, we rarely know how he’ll experience something. He can’t tell us what he wants to do, what he doesn’t want to do, or whether something might be too much. So rather than staying home “just in case”, we’ve always chosen to give things a try.
