It’s been 4 years.
And yes… I still think about them.
Not every minute.
Not every day in the same way.
But they still cross my mind when something good happens.
When something hard happens.
When I hear a song they loved.
When I wish I could call them.
Can we normalize that grief doesn’t have an expiration date?
That missing someone years later doesn’t mean you’re stuck.
It doesn’t mean you haven’t moved forward.
It doesn’t mean you’re living in the past.
Sometimes it simply means they mattered.
Love leaves an imprint.
And some people become part of the way we see the world forever.
So if it’s been 4 years, 10 years, or even 40 years…
And you’re still thinking about them today—
I hope you know that’s okay. ❤️
