Or why you reached toward them while they were chewing something valuable. And you probably missed the signs…most people do. I’ve been doing this for 20+ years and I’ll tell you straight: I don’t always know what they’re thinking either. There’s instinct, genetics, memory, and all kinds of weird associations happening in there.
