Prosecutors say an Arizona couple is facing felony charges after a retail theft spree that allegedly targeted more than two dozen stores across the Valley. According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, Daniel Crouse is accused of stealing power tools from multiple Lowe’s and Home Depot locations between March and May. Investigators say the stolen merchandise totaled more than $30,000. Authorities say the investigation linked the case to eight Lowe’s stores, 17 Home Depot stores, a Shopper Supply store, and a theft involving a luxury purse from a Chandler department store. Stephanie Bandin was also indicted after prosecutors say she helped hinder Crouse’s arrest and was connected to at least one of the thefts.
