Arizona really has a highway that forgot the rest of America uses miles 😂 I-19 between Tucson and Nogales is the only highway in the U.S. where distance signs are posted in kilometers instead of miles. The signs have been there since the 1970s, back when the U.S. was testing out a switch to the metric system. The country moved on… but southern Arizona kept the signs. Now there’s talk about replacing them with miles, and people are split. Some say it would make the highway less confusing.
