Multiple 911 callers helped Arizona DPS locate a driver who was allegedly swerving between lanes, driving on the shoulder, and nearly hitting other vehicles on the US-60 in Mesa.
According to DPS, troopers tracked the white Ford Ranger with help from Falcon Air Support before the driver struck a barrier wall and continued failing to stop. To safely end the pursuit, troopers deployed a grappler device, bringing the vehicle to a controlled stop. Officials say the driver showed several signs of impairment and was arrested on charges including aggravated DUI, criminal damage, and failure to stop for law enforcement.
Have you ever actually seen a DPS grappler deployment in person?
