Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Sector say a human smuggling attempt near Douglas ended with multiple people being taken into custody after the driver allegedly pulled up right in front of a marked Border Patrol unit. According to officials, agents watched as three people came out from the desert brush and got into a black Ford Escape. Agents quickly started a stop, but officials say one person ran back into the desert before being tracked down and apprehended by additional agents. Border Patrol says two people inside the vehicle were identified as Mexican nationals unlawfully present in the country. The driver, who officials identified as a Cuban citizen, was arrested on human smuggling charges. All four people involved were transported for processing. What do you think about this?
