Last October, a 66-year-old Pinal County man passed away after his truck went off a cliff on Mount Lemmon. According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened after the driver missed a turn along Arizona State Land Road. Deputies say the pickup fell about 40 feet, and he was the only person inside the vehicle. The crash was still under investigation at the time, but it served as another reminder of how dangerous Mount Lemmon roads can be — especially with sharp turns, steep drops, and narrow shoulders. Mount Lemmon is one of southern Arizona’s most scenic drives, but if you’ve been up there before, you know those curves can get serious fast. What do you think would make the drive safer? 🏔️ Via 13 News #ArizonaNews #MountLemmon #TucsonAZ #PimaCounty #DownInnaDesert
