The National Capital Commission has just announced that two new swimming spots will open this summer in Ottawa for residents to enjoy! 👏👏 Both will have direct views of Parliament Hill. How cool does that sound? Swipe to see the projects underway! The first is on the Ottawa side, near the Ottawa Locks, and can be seen from the pathway along the riverbank. The other is on the Gatineau side, near the Canadian Museum of History. There is no opening date yet, but the NCC says they will be ready very soon. Last summer, the NCC opened a swimming area and dock at Dow’s Lake, and many people enjoyed the new addition.
