In 2014, I was Brazilian for 29 days 🇧🇷 ( I forever will hold Brazil close to me) I remember going to the Brazilian Embassy in Washington, DC, and them asking why I was going to the World Cup for so long and where I was going to stay. I told them I was staying with a friend at his grandmother’s house in Rio. I was 21 years old at the time and had no idea how much of an impact this trip would have on my life. Everything you can think of, we did during that month in Rio. That included going to the Round of 16 match and seeing James Rodriguez score that unforgettable chest volley against Uruguay, a goal that went on to win Goal of the Tournament.
