Last year during stagecoach I was introduced to the YeEDM (Country dance) genre. Never really a Country fan but checked out diplo 's Honky Tonk. Loved it! I tuned in this year hoping the Honky Tonk stage would be streaming. Instead, brettyoungmusic was onstage and instantly hooked by his music and his show. IMHO, music is not about the genres. It's about what music moves you and how it brings you on a journey. It's what I love about being a DJ. It's what I love about...music. The power that a riff and lyrics has on your mind, your heart, your soul. Whether it's EDM, Country, Metal, or other... It really is fascinating. I encourage you to expand your ears and challenge yourself to explore other music outside your comfort zone.
