Buliding your grocery list when you’re trying to balance your blood sugar can be challenging. Every aisle is a decision, and most of the “health” marketing on the front of the box is doing the opposite of helping you. So I did the work for you. These are the blood sugar friendly finds I actually grab at Kroger, the stuff that keeps me full and supports stable energy that won’t send your glucose on a roller coaster an hour after you eat. A few things I want you to notice as you swipe through: Protein is the anchor of every blood sugar friendly cart. Aim to always pair protein with fiber. The swaps matter. None of this is about restriction. It’s about building a week of eats that works WITH your metabolism instead of against it which matters even more in your 40s and 50s when insulin resistance creeps up on so many of us.
