Art Week at Camp West isn’t just about keeping little hands busy with arts and crafts. It’s about teaching our kids to create beauty in the spaces around them. Sometimes that looks like paint on a canvas. Sometimes it looks like cardboard turned into something magical. And sometimes it looks like an art installation made from colorful inner tubes that will cast rainbow shadows across the grass and concrete as the sun moves throughout the day. Art helps kids see possibilities where other people see ordinary. One of my favorite parts of this week has been watching the kids look at everyday objects and imagine what they could become. A pile of supplies turns into an idea. An idea turns into something beautiful. And suddenly they’re not just making art—they’re learning to create, imagine, and leave a space a little brighter than they found it. That’s what Art Week is really about. 🎨✨ #CampWest2026 ——————————————————- DIY, art, art week, camp, things to do, create, creativity, mom...
