The moment when my father died, it was as if part of him merged with me forever. I know that many people will not understand what I mean. But I learnt many life lessons from Dad during the last few years of his life, especially towards the end. Especially from the things he regretted. One chapter of my life has ended with him forever. I can feel the transformation. The other begins now. Time to again become the boho daughter I was. Who didn't give a damn. Time to stop caring for people who don't give a flying f^*k about you. I will live my life my way from now, carrying his spirit in my heart. His deep love for my mother, despite being separated for so many years was a lesson in itself.
